hd4000 graphics chip - drivers anyone?

#1 Post by divisionmd »

Hello,

- I have Puppy Linux Precise 3.2.29 - but sadly only with VESA drivers working.

- The graphics is a intel hd4000 graphics chip - anyone got a .pet for that?

Thanks for help,

Best regards,
Johan

Hi...

Just to make sure, are we talking about the kernel version or the version of Precise?

EDIT: On second glance, I'm quite sure your referring to the kernel version.

If you are referring to the version of Puppy, I would try the latest release here.

However, I'm not completely sure if the drivers for your chipset have been included in with the newest kernel(s). Apparently, this person was able to get a functioning system using kernel version 3.4.4 using the intel driver.

Perhaps someone else on here has already composed a .pet for this driver and/or who knows more about this than I do. :)
