Why noarch language-packs doesn't work in newer precise

#1 Post by computerophil »

Sorry my english is bad but that's why I also need the language packs (german, italien)

I was so glad with puppy 5.3 the noarch language packs worked so great but with the newer precise-puppys the don't.
Will there come newer language-packs that are working?
Or do I have to do something different.
Thanks for help

Be more specific please:
Which language pack does not work on which newer Puppy?
...and if it is an issue of German langpack then post at German language forum please.

The Italian langpack works for me in the latest Puppy builds. Did you restart X after installing the langpack? (Menu > Shutdown > Restart X)
