Open Office 3

Has anybody gotten Open Office 3 to successfully run in Puppy? When I downloaded it the installer would freeze. Maybe there is some way to get a tarball without the installer

I have been using OpenOffice3 for some time now. All the components work with no trouble at all.
I downloaded the .sfs file and placed it in my HD root (I'm using a frugal install of 4.1.2). Go to "System-->Boot manager configure bootup" in the main menu and activate the file. Then on bootup you should have OO icons on your desktop.

i've been having the same problem with ibiblio, it is always problematic with large downloads [for me]

gatetech seems totally dead

have not tried the .nl site yet

full install so do not want to deal with .sfs
