Hi.
Is it possible to run Android Apps in Puppy?
I don't own a smart phone but my internet provider offers +10% high speed volume when using the App to charge e.g. a prepaid card for internet use etc.pp.
So, if this would be possible I would get 6GB instead of 5.5GB for 15,- €.
Android Apps in Puppy?
I don't think so.
There is something called "anbox".
I attempted to get it to run on debian dog. I failed.
Maybe you will have better luck.

EDIT: The following Chrome browser extension called "ARC Welder" worked for me in tests (see my next post for some test details).
It's pretty big extension download (quite a bit over 100MB),
but nothing like as big as using Android SDK: https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html?hl=sk
Here is ARC Welder info/extension:

I also had a quick try of the similar Chrome browser extension called ARChon (might be same as ARC Welder; earlier?), but that was more complicated to install/use and didn't work when I tried it:

Just tried ARC Welder (see my immediately above post) with my Chrome browser Version 63.0.3239.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) on my Old HP EliteBook laptop 2530p core-2-duo 2GB RAM XenialDog64 system. It worked (so far) with an apk for app "Face Slim" I downloaded from:
https://f-droid.org/en/
https://search.f-droid.org/?q=face+slim&lang=en
Reading some Facebook posts on it right now...
It includes messenger capability, which worked in test too.
EDIT: I notice that once you get an apk (such as Face Slim) running, it becomes available to Launch from Chrome Browser Extensions tab.
EDIT2: I also find it (along with main ARC Welder startup icon) by opening a new tap with url entry: chrome://apps
