How to connect wifi to Dell 3180 inspiron laptop?
I try to install wifi and no interfaces are shown, I don't know what to do. I think Puppy can't find any of my network adapters...
This netbook doesn't have ethernet, only wifi...

Welcome to Puppy Land!
Always, always, always tell use the exact Puppy version you are using!!!
There are about 300 different ones and they are all slightly different.
Example:
Xenialpup 7.5
menu>System>Pup-Sysinfo>Devices>Network
Copy and paste into a post what the network devices shows for information.
Did this laptop come with Windows 10 or Chrome for an operating system?

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

OK.
Thanks for the information.
Xenialpup64 7.5 should have the firmware and kernel modules for that network hardware.
A lot of laptops have an on/off switch for wifi.
Could be a combination of fn key and some other key.
Some other key combo.
An airplane key.
A actual physical switch.
So make sure the wifi is turned on.
Hopefully it has a wifi on light to show that.

unbuntu works fine but lagged since this is more like a very slow network... this is what the laptop looks like.

I was really just gonna sell it for 80 bucks and done it, it's pretty slow hence the reason I was looking for a lightweight linux distro...
The wifi works fine on all other distros except puppy.... so if you can't advise anything I'll just switch to something else.

What are you doing to try and connect?
You could just be doing it wrong.
If there is a wifi off/on switch.
Puppy Linux does not auto turn on wifi if it is turned off.

Bionicpup64 7.9.8 may be a better Puppy to try.

There are people using similar hardware with Puppy Linux and they do not complain about it being slow.I was really just gonna sell it for 80 bucks and done it, it's pretty slow hence the reason I was looking for a lightweight linux distro...
I am posting this from a laptop with less hardware specs.
It runs fast to me.
It is similar to your laptop, just older hardware.
You have a newer processor and newer wifi hardware.

This can be figured out.
But we only know what you tell use.
You do what?
You see what?
To really understand what is going on.
Menu>Setup>Internet Connection Wizard>Wired or Wireless>Network Wizard
When it opens to the first window it shows no network interfaces?

With this hardware this Puppy may provide better support for the hardware.
