@ 01micko......... Good job on spup.
I have a frugal install on a desktop box that constantly has Network timeout issues while browsing the internet. I have tried different browsers, all of the different connection wizards (wireless connection) but still same problem. I had this problem as well ...

ttuuxxx,

I seen in another post that you are using 2.14 for the next Living Water. I thought that I would go ahead and setup your latest 2.14 and see how it worked with my setup. I am having problems with the wireless, (rt61, PCI) is the driver that is being loaded which is correct. I noticed that ...

I have a frugal install of Squeeze 009. Internet browsing is very slow and I keep getting network timeout error. I took a quick look through the thread but did not see anyone else with this complaint. I loaded opera just to see if that would act any different but still had same issue. I have never ...

Thanks big_bass,

I removed my package and installed this one. Works great here.
I noticed that there were some holes between some of the icons so I cleaned that up in the .tabble file in the root folder. Just download and change the file name to .tabble and place in the root folder.

Thanks again ...

Ok big_bass here we go....
I looked back through the thread and found the tools that you shared and used them to create the package. That is some pretty nifty work you done there. Thanks again for all of your hard work.

Just change .bz2 to .txz

big_bass,

I borrowed the control panel from gposil's Dpup and packaged it up for TXZ-Pup.
This is the first package that I have done so I am not sure that it is all correct.
I know that you are a busy man but if you take a look and see something that i didn't
do correct please let me know. I hope ...

Sorry for my ignorance Joe.
Apparently I did not see the forest for the trees. I called my self investigating that before I posted for help. Thanks for the quick reply. I will continue to try and figure out why I can't seem to get the other network wizards to connect to the internet.

Hey Big_Bass

I have been using TXZ since the first week you posted and it has done everything that I have ask of it. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated. In the past few days I have found that I cannot connect to my wireless if I try to turn on security. In the past I always just left it ...

I did not see anything posted but if I missed it I am sorry, and I surely don"t mean to step on any toes. I made this patch for the control panel from the updated source that ttuuxx uploaded earlier. Now clicking on the icon or the name will open the application.

ttuuxxx,

I see this in a previous post... Oh ya after install Thunar pet above, please set your GTK2 theme to one of the XFCE themes,

But I seem to be overlooking the pet.
The question that I should be asking though is, will this pet work with other puppy versions? Not that I don't like what you ...

gposil,
I was poking around to see if I could figure out why the wireless selection was not working in the control panel.
I found : name: Wireless
dir: /usr/sbin
cmd: ./opt/Pwireless2/Pwireless2
icon dir: /usr/share/pcp3/icons
icon: kwifimanager.png
x pos: 4
y pos: 0

I changed it to: name ...

Does anybody know which version of Pwidgets plays the nicest with dpup?
I have Pwidgets 2.2.2 installed and the only problem I have been having is with the weather widget. It doesn't want to show after screensaver has been active.

Thanks Big_Bass, worked like a charm.
I still have a lot to learn when it comes to things like this in puppy.
Sorry if I scaled the screenshot to small, but I didn't want to leave it at 1024x768. I will do better next time....Thanks for your time and again, thanks for Slaxer_Pup.

Big_Bass I would like to give you a big thumbs up for slaxer_pup.
