I can't seem to get a window icon to appear on my apps. Can some tell me where the icon image files needs to be located to work on a dialog as below.
<window title=\"NASViewer\" icon-name=\"NASviewer16.xpm\">
I've tried the full path as well and that didn't work.
Thanks!

I'm running the completely stock MacPup5.2.5 right out of the box. I was thinking that the version of FireFox is different than the 4.0 version .pet that can be installed by clicking the globe icon on a new install of puppy5.2.5, but I have the same problem when I installed Chromium.

Weird webcam issue?
I have pulled the rest of my hair out on this one and gotten nowhere fast.
I have a PC with a capture card that works perfectly with flash webcam sites using regular Puppy5.2.5, but on MacPup5.2.5 I can not accept the permissions dialog when it pops up. I've tried a ton of known workarounds and ...

Screen lock?
I tried to lock the screen with ctrl-alt-l and it appears to lock but gets an error about pam.d and unlocks with no password. I saw some evidence of this problem googling around, but was hoping someone had a solution. The one solution I tried caused me to be locked out completely.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm still having trouble making an exact backup on my e17 config. I tried creating a .pet out of the /root/.e/* directory and it seems to contain the basic config but not and changes I have made to the icons or custom apps that I have added to the ibar? Any idea what I might be doing wrong or what ...

Enlightenment backup...
After spending some time to get my new MacPup install configured, I'd like to back up the desktop config. Can someone tell me what files to backup?
I think that /root/.e/* would work, but wanted a professional opinion.

Enlightenment Error!
I ran into the dreaded white box error message after using quickpet to install Gimp. Hitting F1 caused my desktop to go blank and only after a hard reset and running xwin at the prompt got me back to a working desktop.

This is a great How TO! I'm a little unclear on how to persist changes that I make when the panel is refreshed by adding new .pet files and other things that might refresh it.
It seems that pfbpanel will recreate the original default config file and I'm not sure how to insist that it always use my ...

I'll give it a shot, but I tried the Lin N Win config with my .iso and got the same results even tough the .iso boots and installs fine on other systems. I've had this problem on older versions and it was always something to do with the menu.lst. I'm wondering if the (hd0,0) option is causing some ...
