Full Hardware swap old to new.
I build new PuppyPC's with out exturnal drives, so I used and old AMD Dual Athlon MP (amd chipset) with Nvidia Video,SB sound Netgear NIC, to install Puppy on IDE 2.5 flash drives before building into and Intel celeron ITX MB with SIS Video, Intel NIC and Sound. Talk about WOW!

I didnt think I would be able to run Puppy on this thing. I have 64 meg of ram and I did an install (full to hd) with a half gig swap and it is running pretty darn good. I lost my cd though.
