xvesa resolution too high for new monitor
Frugal install Puppy 2.17 using xvesa set to 1152×864. I switched to a monitor that doesn't support this. How do I get xvesa to change down to 1024×768 if I can't see the desktop to change the resolution? Obviously, I can hide the save file, but then I don't get the save file contents. Is there a &q...

Is scsi detect fixed for alpha 2?
Alpha 1 (puppy-4.00alpha3.90-k2.6.21.7) couldnt find my scsi drive. I boot from ide and then mount scsi. Pup 2.17 can mount scsi. Alpha1 doesnt even acknowledge its existence. Is that fixed in alpha 2? pup is a real slow download, so i dont want to bother trying till the scsi problem is fixed. On a ...

Trouble compiling tkrat in 2.17
I'm trying to compile tkrat (a MUA) in 2.17 w/ devx.
I don't have the pc in front of me, but it has trouble compiling the c-client.
Worked fine on a Sun/Solaris.
I'm wondering if anyone's tried/succeeded in compiling tkrat.
Thanx
