I may be being completely stupid but I cannot find an easy way to update the Linux kernel. I am on a full install of Puppy but don't know how to find the right kernel or how I should install it?

Hi
Is there a lightweight alternative file manager to Rox-Filer please? I don't know how use it easily and I cannot even seem to master basic searches?
Also I cannot work out how to symlink things? (I usually use Linux Mint so this is a massive learning curve for me)

Updating BionicPup Kernel?
Hi
How do I check which Kernel I am on please and is it easy to update if needed? I am the latest version of BionicPup 8 and have all updates and it is on a full install.

VLC not starting
Hi So many thanks to Fabrice_035 I now have network shares running but I cannot start VLC from the main menu. If I run VLC in a terminal, it says it was not meant to be run as root.
