If I remember correctly it's the same name used on my YouTube channel. Either TAERSH or taersh or even T.A.E.R.S.H. or t.a.e.r.s.h. or even very similar to that. If this account could be activated I would prefer to use this instead of O.F.I.N.S.I.S. :)

Thanks in advance...

I couldn't use my gmail account. Also all the popular German email-providers (gmx.de, web.de, t-online.de etc.) couldn't be used, as they never received the activation mail. I had tried hotmail which worked immediately. Some email providers will block email from this forum as junk mail or whatever....

I think you have covered quite a few bases.
So, there's some more I did not cover?
Let me know, please.

Thanks.

No admins is a bit erroneous. But, the rest is accurate. The most popular email in the world (gmail) cannot be used to create a new registration on the forum. Erm, I could and did just a few months back..........registered with gmail, no sweat. 8) I couldn't use my gmail account. Also all the popul...

Hi. I don't look for any features in an Audio Editor. Just thought to mention Eko Audio Editor. Generally MhWaveEdit doesn't fit my needs of an Audio Editor. So, I prefer to use Audacity to record/edit audio files. Have been using Audacity already at times when I was a Windows user - though, that's ...

Eko Audio Editor

Hi. Have you ever heard of Eko Audio Editor? I rediscovered this by actually reading an old Linux Print Magazine from 2017. So, I searched for it. The developers page seems to be gone. Could not connect to it. However, it's license is "Public Domain" and I found version 5.3.3, which seems ...

hi O.F.I.N.S.I.S. not sure what that error means. you could check /root/.jwmrc /root/.jwmrc-tray /root/.jwm/jwmrc-personal for any clues. but if everything is working i wouldn't worry. I checked all files already including my additional JWM modification files ( I have three menus, left-click, right...

Thanks! Yes, Binary Mindset is one of my favorites also - though, got a lot of favorites. It was the first song I dedicated to my lovely Girlfriend. It is one song taken from my album The Seventh of Eight - Volume 2 which I had uploaded completely to my Soundcloud channel. It's seven songs in 7/8 an...

The Space Traveller

Hi. I'm in heavy doubt to get my feet on the ground, playing this song live to an audience. So I decided to upload the first 5 minutes in a video to my YouTube Channel. The complete 39 minutes piece composed, arranged and mixed down in November 2019 was uploaded to my channel at Soundcloud.com. Hope...

Hi. I was able to compile Qtractor 0.9.15 with VST3 enabled. :D A quick and short test had returned it's working. The .pet plus .deb packages are uploaded to my google drive storage. The packages have -vst3 in their names. E.g.: Qtractor64-0.9.15-vst3.deb Qtractor64-0.9.15-vst3.pet Still the same li...

Ok, thanks for the support. After examining the configure script, I found a special compiler option to define a path to the compiled VST3SDK. So, it doesn't need to be installed at all. I was able to compile Qtractor 0.9.15 with VST3 enabled by using a compiler option: --with-vst3= PathToVST3SDK. No...

How to install the VST3SDK package?

Hi. I compiled VST3SDK successfully. Compiled the sources package available from steinberg.com. Used this as the git sources failed by a missing file. Though, the compiled package doesn't seem to have the ability to be installed via make install or new2dir make install . It complains about the insta...

Qtractor 0.9.15 successfully compiled

Hi. I've compiled Qtractor 0.9.15 and uploaded .pet plus .deb installation packages to my google drive. Still the same link in first post. I tried to compile Qtractor with vst3 enabled. So, I first compiled vst3sdk successfully. The git version failed to compile by missing include file SMTG_VST3_SDK...

Hallo, Reiner. Will not some .SFS packages place a dot-file with preferences in, for example, /root? And that will not be removed when you close the SFS. Yes. Just like installed programs, programs from .sfs also needs to store its settings somewhere. Some in /root, some in /root/.config. But I'm s...

@01101001b - thanks; but I already was doing it like that. :-) But then - I reinstalled something, or something like that ― and that scrambled the order; and I was trying a bunch of programs; and now it's a mess. That's one reason why I prefer to use .sfs modules. If I want a program to use or just...
