Thanks for the reply rufwoof.

I don't seem to have been overlooking anything in creating multisesion DVDs.

Suspect problem with using RW DVDs is my dvd drive on this laptop.
I have now solved most of the other issues I had and am running out of spare time right now so will get back to this issue ...

Thanks for the interesting replies.

I now have dpup running with keepass2 from a frugal install in a Windows partition or a frugal install in another partition and from cd-r s and an ordinary full install.

Optical media install with persistence any tutorials ?
I still have not sorted out the ...

@ Mike Walsh

... Let's be honest; the only scenarios where you'll need passwords is with anything 'internet-related'.....

There is some other confidential info that I store in Keepass2.
Keepass2 has a notes section so it is not limited to just storing Password/URL/Username.
Details for telephone ...

Thanks everyone for the replies.

There seems to have been a consensus that Dpup is a good choice so I am trying that.

I have not yet got it on to a cd/dvd with persistence. I seem to remember when trying it from a CD-R that it gave an indication that saving may be experimental, and so I suspect ...

Hi Indy,
Thanks for the post.

I have now tried Dpup and keepass2 & keepassX works for me in Dpup.

Quite possibly had I stuck with Tahrpup and successfully updated it I would have got Keepass2 working, but I gave up on Tahruip and moved on to Dpup.

I will probably stick with Keepass2 rather than ...

:D Thanks for the reply.

I seem to recall mention somewhere that there must have been about 5k puppy related projects, so it is easy for me to get rather confused with my decisions on choosing one.

Following your link I note it is a project section with over 1k topics and the dpup topic has 1/2k ...

Choosing a new Puppy

I tend to use Puppy as a backup OS and generally use Debian, but keeping Puppy in reserve for whenever the main OS is problematic. Or on very old machines - I still have a 32bit Windows Laptop where I tend to use Puppy instead of the outdated insecure Windows.
Its not long ago that I threw out an ...

Sorry may be a while before I get back to this subject.
I will start a new thread &/or close this one if it is better for the forum.

New Problem
I did open quickpet and seeing there were updates available opted to install them, however that has broken Puppy. It now only opens to a terminal ...

Keepass2 not working in tahrpup 6 (Resolved)

I have tried to install Keepass2 from the package manager.

I now have a Keepass2 Icon from the menu, but that does not start.
I was hoping to get this to work as I multi boot and have Keepass2 on other installs of Linux and even on Android phones.

I have seen the thread KeePass2 wont start [Solved ...
