jtimR2, Welcome to Puppy Linux! I really enjoy posts like yours because they show that not all problems affect all users. (Sometimes, when only problems are posted, the good times get missed.) I would appreciate it if you would post your 'HP utility' information on http://puppylinux.org/wikka/USBKey...

I hit 776GB last July (the last two weeks of the month), but traffic has been decreasing steadily since then. I have been fortunate that my provider has not limited my overages, nor have they charged me for them. For storage useage, I'm at roughly 4.5GB. My bandwidth usage consistantly exceeded 500G...

Puppy Linux Websites - Bandwidth issues

I loaded the v1.0.8 & v1.0.8-multisession to puppyfiles.us this morning before work. I made a few quick updates to the wiki then, but I'm just getting around to updating the forum:

What happens when Hacao is translated into Chinese? China is the number 2 Internet user and it has barely begun . . . Though I walk through the valley of death, I shall fear no evil... :D By the way, the hacao_devel version is also availble at puppyfiles: ftp://puppyfiles.us/pub/releases/vietnamese/

Just a quick update : My progress has temporarily stalled. The code that I'm hacking seems overly complex (more so than is probably really needed), and their programming style is very different than mine. I've had to step away from it for a few days so that I can come back at it from a different an...

Nevermore - Prior to using any of my thumbdrives, I have always mounted them to see what the manufacturer put there. My Cruzer Mini wasn't being recognized by my daughter's old system when it was in Win98 (first edition) since she didn't have the USB drivers, but I popped in my Puppy 1.0.6 CD, boote...
