Opinions on IPFS (Interplanetary File System)?

Hello, everyone! After having been absent for so long on this forum, I figured I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year! Anyways, I was thinking about making IPFS Hashes for official Puppy Linux Downloads, and I was wondering what is everyone's opinion on IPFS in general. For example, the IPFS hash for th...

Either that or please make some sort of way to make Puppy or Dog Linux make an automatically expandable and default changes.dat file like Slax does. That is what I enjoy most about Slax, because the changes don't have to be manually saved or expanded. Please clarify what you're trying to achieve. I...

Please Teach Me How to Update QEMU Puppy

I would like to see someone update QEMU Puppy, the version of Puppy Linux that basically runs on a flash drive on Linux and Windows via portable QEMU, and even natively on boot., updated to the latest Puppy release. Or maybe just teach me how to update it myself. I tried bumping the official QEMUpup...

Apparently Binary Code Can Be Used as a Guitar Tab

I just (re)discovered a YouTube video by a guy named Rob Scallon, where BINARY CODE can be used as a guitar tab. I am so psyched about this that I am wondering if the ISO files for Puppy Linux could last for days as one song.

Browser-Based Hypervisor with Local Virtual Machine?

I do admit to using Windows for 60% of my computer usage, but 90% of that 60% (50% total? IDK) is using the web browser, as I have posted in another topic. As a matter of fact, my web browser and its accompanying download folder are running on my external hard disk, in the case that I need to transi...

Who Uses the Computer (Puppy or Not) for Just Web Browsing?

Nowadays everything is done in the browser, so no matter what Puppy or Quirky or other GNU/Linux or Windows computer it is, it's' all the same task. Who just uses the web browser when using a computer?

About apt2sfs...

I was using apt2sfs earlier this week, and I like the idea of using that program to make a whole distro just by using the apt-get tool, as I find it difficult to make an sfs modification without making much mistakes (such as accidentally leaving in personal residue and bash history). But the problem...

Dog Linux has somewhat of solution.

I was using Dog Linux the other day, specifically Xenial and Bionic Dog (don't know if it was made from woof-CE or not), but the application apt2sfs lets me build somewhat of a filesystem just by specifying packages, a desktop environment, the shell, etc. I know it is mainly for creating attachable ...

Easier Woof-CE Configuration

Hi, everyone, Before I begin my idea, thank you for welcoming me to this Puppy Forum, as I fully enjoy Puppy GNU/Linux (I add the GNU in there because of FSF reasons). And since I am new, if this topic is in the wrong area of the forum, please move it if you need to. Anyway, I was thinking woof-CE s...
