Dear Friends, Hope all is well... I'm running Xenial Pup 64 from a flash drive. For some reason the Battery indicator in the taskbar is not accurately displaying the amount of Charge remaining in the Battery. It once read 100% when fully charged, then it dropped to 94% now it seems to be stuck on 92...

Google Chrome browser stopped working
Continuing from my last post. Ralph downloaded the slimjet pet or sfs into /root/spot. I don't know why he gets a permission error. Unfortunately, I'm not certain what Mike Walsh included in those packages. In the Google-Chrome 64 builds, Mike includes a module (with a taskbar launcher) which moves...

Hi Nanosecond, What web-browser did you use do download into /root/ spot /Download? It seems the only working web-browser you have is Google-Chrome48, and it didn't download files there by default. How did the slimjet package get into /spot/Downloads? When you download a file the Web-browser doing ...

Raphael:- Well, you've flummoxed me here. Got me doubting my own packaging skills, so I downloaded the package I linked you to, fired up my test install of Tahr 605, and installed it. It still fires straight up.....whether from the terminal, or Menu->Internet->Slimjet. I'm posting from the test ins...

Enlarging Save-File
Thank YOU!bigpup wrote:menu>Utility>Resize Personal Storage File
Any setting you select, will add to the size of the save file, by the amount you choose.
Only save file size limit is if the save file is on a fat32 formatted partition.
fat32 has a file size max limit of 4GB.

Thank You! I did download it just now and it took awhile as the USB flash drive was active. Waited until it asked If I wanted to install this package and I tick yes. When I go to Menu>Internet>Slimjet it won't open. In the list of Internet options in this order. Google-Chrome, Palemoon, Palemoon up...

At least it installed without any error messages about free space. Instead of using the menu entry to launch Slimjet, open a terminal, type slimjet and press your carriage return key. Read what it says and post it here if necessary. Thank YOU! Progress. If I go to /root/spot/Downloads and tick down...

@Mike Walsh Thank YOU! awesome... @Mike WalshMike Walsh wrote:@ Raphael:-
Shouldn't make a scrap of difference. If Tahrpup itself runs, then so will this. Slimjet, Iron, Vivaldi.....all of these would run; they're all based on the Chromium browser, and are what are known as 'clones'.
Mike.
Thank YOU! awesome...
