Here's the output: spot$ su Password: spot$ losetup -a /dev/loop0: 0 /kernel-modules.sfs /dev/loop1: 0 /fd64.sfs /dev/loop2: 0 /aufs/devsave/[mysavefilename] /dev/loop10: 0 /aufs/devsave/32bit-fd64_710.sfs /dev/loop11: 0 /aufs/devsave/fd64-devx_710.sfs ...

@ step > Clean your savefile from any debris from your early experiments then start enjoying node7 Cool! But how exactly. (more details below) > I can guess what happened. Aha, but we may have to dig deeper, because that seems to be the opposite of what happened.. I deleted the symlink before instal...

Yep.. same output! (I loaded through control panel, tell me if after reading this do you still want me to load from the command line) except it was 12 here but it finds the aufs fine.. > masking /usr/bin/node and turning it into a non-executable file. went to check permissions and I think I found th...

@step I'd be happy to access it even from OUTSIDE any sandbox! This also happened when I installed the version from gslapt (4.3 I think).. maybe it has the same cause, but I had to manually create the symlink. How can I find where your SFS packaged was loaded in? "whereis node" doesn't see...

Thanks. It should work.. I'll take a rest from the risk for the moment tho :) > sandbox cool! okay, it asked me which sfs to load.. It can't find node though. I loaded your .sfs (version 7), it can't find outside of the sandbox either (where does it go?) soo.. assuming something writes to a system d...

Thanks! and thanks for the packages too! : ) So the txz in your drive are unchanged from node's site and then you repackaged with some wizardry? cool! I got the node 7 there, just in case but, I guess 3 is the charm 'cause I tried now and the thing worked: It wasn't compiling node itself that was pr...

udev hardware activation order confuses FatDog (some times:)

Hi, discovered FatDog recently and love it! Simply works (mostly, read on :)) I have 2 graphics cards, 1 is an onboard nvidia.. if I enable it in the BIOS, it glitches the screen at boot time. This happens mostly after a cold boot, as if the card takes longer to register in udev and the PCIe gets th...
