I have made a pet package of the XFCE desktop for April64.

Download xfce4_64-4.12.pet from http://download.tuxfamily.org/nop - approx 11Mb

This package includes dbus, pup-volume-monitor & gvfs for desktop drive icon functionality.

Note that I have used Thunar 1.4 because of issues with later ...

Did you recompile Glib ? The glib with Precise is not compiled with gvfs support.

WiFi works fine on several computers / wifi cards I have tried. However when frugal installed on a USB stick the WiFi is not reconnected at boot up.
It fails to find a live connection. I tried playing with some of the sleep timings in the rc.d/network script but no joy.

The mtpaintsnapshot tool captures the menu. It is already in NOP but does not have a menu entry. Just type mtpaintsnapshot.sh in the terminal.

The old acx driver has not been updated since 2006 and did not appear to work with newer kernels. I found a patch on the Karmic Ubuntu forum and thought I would try in Wary 5.1.1. To my surprise it actually worked !

Here is the patched source code and pet file.
This driver is for WEP encryption only.

Sorry mate - bin busy. Try typing VirtualBox (capital V & B) into the terminal and post back here with the error message - then I may find out what is wrong, cos it works purfect 4 me.
