hello everybody wanting to setup a linux box desktop or server it is xp1800 with 512 ram with 2 hard drives one for os 2 nd for sharing want it to be able to share printer and folder for whole house with other linux and window box's hookup to network.what os and would be the easy way.any help would ...

would love toswitch from windows to linux
would love to switch all mt computers over to a linux only just don't know if i can do all the things i like? don't know which programs which are = to the ones i use in windows. i use dvd shirk,dvd decrypter,nero,for backing up all my dvd's utorrent to download,ck out a program called spice works it...

Need ethernet drivers for Biostar i945gc-m7 motherboard
need drivers for a new biostar motherboard nic card is not working model # is i945gc-m7 te socket775 2.66 mhz this is the first board puppy could not setup the lan internet not bad for all the units i tryed puppy on the lan is 1000 not 10/100 maybe that the problem ? any help will be great.. thanks

not sure where to ask but wanted to ask here on puppy forums. My friend wants to switch his office over to linux. i have downloaded dragon @ firehydrant @ and fat free 3.o in all of them they do not have LinNeighborhood samba client need it to get to my other computers on the network . in fat free 3.0 i don't see the internet button if there is another way of getting on the internet let me know thanks to everyo...

i downloaded dragon pup looks real nice but i did not see LinNeighood samba client back into it or did i just miss it i look in network want to be able to look at files on my other unit thanks

let me tell you something funny on my window box tryed to get on your web site 4 or 5 times came up with error jump on my little puppy box got right on your site downloaded 3.0.1a still trying to find 3.0.1b but who would thought something go be wrong with my window box lol..
