Does anyone know a good looking mac-style-dock??? (Tablaunch and it's auto-hidding is pissing me off....)

I have the same problem with it and searched a lot -- found nothing.
I also tried what MU suggested, but it keeps the selected tab enlarged until it hides...

I'm also not sure about Engage ...

Ok, i'm using puppy 2.10 installed on my HD....
The problem is:
My video card is a Trident CyberBlade, and it's no longer supported by Linux, so I wanted to downgrade to kernell 2.4.xx, so i can play hardware accelerated games...
Can i do that?!

So edit

change the line to

/usr/local/tablaunch0.6/tablaunch -d 10000000 --dock bottom --height 48 -x 250 -y 0 -bg "#000000" -sfg ...

superkaramba is a kde app. So you probebly will have to install the full KDE and then run superkaramba in KDE. It may be possible to run it outside of kde but it will still need the full KDE installed. And on a pc with the specs of the computer you have in your sig. I dont thinke kde is a great ...

I was looking at a linux screenshot site, and i saw the perfect tablaunch-bar...
It's a "superkaramba" plugin...
But i use enlightenment...
Can i use superkaramba normally?!?!
Does it have a dotpup package?!?

yes, please install this dotpups:

Then create a file /root/.gtkrc-2.0

gtk-icon-theme-name="gnome"

If you already have such a file, that has these lines:
include "/root/.gtkrc.mine"
# -- THEME AUTO-WRITTEN DO ...

Please open your computer, and look, if you have a AGP-slot.

Then look, if a errormessage appears when you try to add an application.

you could try Puppy 1.08 or 1.09 CE.
It uses Kernel 2.4.
I think there was posted a Trident driver once, but I don't remember if it worked - at least there was some trouble.
You might search the forum first.

I still use Puppy 108 to play Doom4, as my Ati-drivers crash in Puppy 2.x with this game ...

Looks like graphics issues. Do you have DRI installed for your graphics card? I thought I saw that as a requirement when I scanned the site yesterday. MU's 3DCC is the app to use unless you have nVidia. I'll try the new one tonight.

The different versions are for if Puppy only included libc 5 or 6 ...

My rox filer dont get the icons.... just the thumbnails... but not the "home", "parent directory", etcetera....
Please read the README again:
Using:
Select "PupGant" theme in ROX-Filer:
- ROX-Filer Options>Types>Icon Theme

To change desktop and gtk icon theme run the config tool:
- PupGant ...

Okay, I figured I'd start with the dotpup here:

It still didn't work with the tk package installed. Starting from the commandline it said:
