Both report video and glxgears worked when booting from the live cd. How do I install arandr and ppm?

When I typed glxgears it comes back as a bad request. Let me know anything else I should do. Just trying to get dual monitors worked with extended desktop.

I am using a full install and do not know how to uninstall the first drivers I installed.

When I go to Multiple monitors it detects both of them and I can turn them off and on. Is there an option for extended desktop?

I just tried that sfs and it gives the same error. Do I need to remove the old ones? When I installed that and I think the virtualbox sfs it says some files were skipped. Sorry for my noobishness, but thank you again for your help.
