Hello s243a do you think that sc0ttman's Pkg package manager is a candidate for ArchPup? I'm wondering if installing it might help in the installation process overall. You won't be able to add or update repos with it until we add the necessary functionality to it. However you can probably use it to...

detecting if petget is called in pinstall.sh

In a pinstall.sh script I want to detect if it is being installed via the petget command because unlike package_chooser.sh, the petget command won't install dependencies and the pinstall.sh script needs the dependencies in order to work. Unfortunately there is currently no variable exported in petge...

In my latestest testing of this build system, I think I forgot to delete package.pet. So what I did was moved the folder with the downloaded pets from woof-out_arch32/packages-pet to ../local-repositories/x86/packages-pet The reason I did this is that this is how I think the setup is supposed to be ...

for some crazy reason I still have not had a smooth run of an ArchPup built with woof-CE on either ArchPup32 or Bionic32. The error continues to be cat: sandbox0/archtemp/desc: Not a directory no matter what adjustment I've made following the instructions. At some point I will find out what I'm doi...

I am now going to build from woof-CE hosted by ArchPup32 Note: there was no git in the devx and had to install from PPM which lead to the small error on the way: # git clone https://github.com/techrockedge/woof-CE.git woof-CE-testingCloning into 'woof-CE-testing'... fatal: unable to access 'https:/...

I created a script to make the tarball. See: https://pastebin.com/CMEPStet it uses a list of files and directories to include in the tarball: '_00build_2.conf' '_00build.conf' '0setup' 'DISTRO_COMPAT_REPOS-arch-32' 'DISTRO_PET_REPOS' 'DISTRO_PET_REPOS-user' 'DISTRO_PKGS_SPECS-arch' 'DISTRO_SPECS' 'h...

I'm a big fan of both of josejp2424 dpup buster pups (32 and 64bit). They run very well and are quite polished. I would nominate them as the next official pup but it isn't up to me.

just use the boot paramater:

pmedia=usbhd

However, if you do this make sure you are using usb3.0. USB2.0 has slow I/O so running directly mounted over USB2.0 might not be the best option.

If people start stock piling alcohol corona will probably be one of the last ones left on the shelf! Totally not true.
