Look for "menu.lst" or "syslinux.cfg" files in your flashdrive and edit it.

look for a line similar to this: kernel /vmlinuz .................. pmedia=atahd and replace "atahd" with "cd" or add it if you don't see it at all

try using boot option "pmedia=cd"
