Understanding that LH64 does not run native linux 32bit apps with any reliablilty, and understanding your need, this might help: VirtualBox KVM-QEMU If you are not familiar with either, what they do is allow you to "boot" an additional PC (virtually) in the running LH64. When you boot the...

Re: Burniso2cd

Are there any options for me to run 32bit stuff in LHP? I don't want to run any of the 32 bit releases, because I've had driver issues with them. LHP wor...

Can this run any 32bit applications? I read that slackware 64 can if it has some extra stuff in it. Does this have that stuff or no? There are a bunch of older 32bit apps id like to run.

AwesomesaurusRex, So far you have my respect. Please do not stoop to the level of others and resort to name calling. I can completely understand how you can get upset when others attack you and mock your input. I've gotten upset in the past at the personal attacks that are thrown at me. Rise above ...

@AwesomesaurusRex Anyone else one to take a crack at this. My post went up at 8:15 a reply surfaces at 7 minutes later showing that they read my post. Went to the site showing a 12 minute explanation of how it all works, found a complementary video, generated a post. Mind you, all of this happen in...

This is a little dated, but, shows just one of Smart Home implementations. I would not expect anyone (especially us oldies) to venture into this, but higher end homes either already are constructed with this ability, or some of the community has these skills to have added this kind of automation to...

Again, just as we are seeing changes all around us, "its depends on us" to bring awareness (just as @JamesBond has done by his sharing of "voice") to help us begin to see how we can employ technology changes such that Puppy's can be useful, helpful, and its popularity increases ...

AwesomesaurusRex I also believe you. Then again, because of past history I archive certain posts/threads too ...... posts amazingly get changed with no human intervention. Not typical of the majority of the members here. Anyone other than myself notice my quote in an earlier post: Welcome @AwesomesaurusRex. And thanks for your CONTRIBUTION for all of us to see, here, in Puppyland. Again, this is the pattern of his to distort, dilute, and disrupt. It just continues. ... That WAS NOT in your post. I see that it is no...

I tried Puppy to keep an old Thinkpad X24 going (with just 256M RAM); now it's my favorite computer. This is Lupu 5.1. I stayed with JWM to keep it light. Thanks to everyone I borrowed from (including dejan555 for the wallpaper concept), and to all the members of this forum for maintaining such a u...

@Q5Sys You continue to try putting your words in mouths and continue your attempts to distort. Maybe someday you find better behavior in the community by using your own thoughts instead of trying to build upon someone else's in your personal vain . This is seen by your constant quoting of others an...

I think that makes perfect sense.
personally i think pae is dumb. if you have 4gb or more you are probably running a 64bit cpu so you should use a 64bit os.
