fcitx already installed successfully
after fcitx installation, restart xserver from menu->shutdown
note: ctrl-alt-backspace after fcitx installation will make xwin crash

Precise 5.7.1 fctix: after install, xwin crashed
referring icake post, I tried to install fctix for my daily use precise 5.7.1.
Installation went without problem, but post-install gave me problem.
After install, I restarted my xwin and xwin crashed.
tried to rerun xorgwizard, still xwin crashed.

how to undu "rm *" in root puppy save file
two days ago I did silly thing.
I entered 'rm *' command in root directory.
alas all files are gone :(
any alternatives to bring back deleted files on puppy save files?
after I realized my mistake, I shut down improperly (pressing power button longer time)
hoping the deleted files not flush onto ...

recommended subset to use CJK
Can someone list all of packages that contained on each subset.
I downloaded small subset and tried to CJK package, then concluded it is very hard since kpse library was not included.
I have limited internet connection, so better find out what those subset have inside.
Also I need beamer ...

digging .xinitrc, find out a script
/usr/sbin/fixPuppyPin
the script try to relocate pin location.
just now comment out fixPuppyPin script.
and will see if the magic works :D
btw I just learned ROX file explorer, its features resembled ...

after unionfs layer checking, my puppypin was overwritten
/root/Choice/ROX-Filler/PuppyPin
I am using ratpoison and want no-icon desktop.
usually I deleted those icon tag on PuppyPin xml.
but again and again the puppy was overwritten.
how to make it sure my customized PuppyPin is on the top ...

previously, tried to remove rarely used builtin application but the system sfs size not changed at all. HomeBank is removed also.
Now I want my HomeBank back.

I want to ask about 2 things.
1. is puppy never give me overwrite warning? when I gave
cp a.txt b.txt
or
mv a.txt b.txt , suppose b.txt exists, then puppy simply overwrite it w/o ask me to overwrite. or is just root mode behavior?

last night downloaded lang pack for precise 5.5
zhcn ftix 7.0.1
after installed it, desktop icon were gone.
previously I edited ROX-fille/PuppyPin keeping only two icons xlock and trash, other were commented out.
other than that frisbee was removed from right side tray.
I tried to edit again ...
