Have read, but think the GUI FreeFileSync is much easier to set up and use.
I find FreeFileSync a very good alternative to rsync, mostly just some mouse clicks!
That's my reason.

D-link DFE-670TXD not working with puppy lupu-500
http://www.tuxmobil.org/pcmcia_linux.html Here you can see a list of which pcmcia pc cards should work on linux. :-) I do not find any Dynex pc cards. I also do not find D-link DWL-610 wireless pcmcia pc card. I do however find both: DFE-670TXD - which works on my puppy 4.1.1 but not lupu and DFE-69...

Which news server is this mailing list running on
I would like to know which news server is running this puppy mailing list? It might be easier for newbies to use pan, as a supplement to this list :D ### Here is a small howto I made about how to use pan newsreader: I find it easier to use a newsreader instead of certain e-mail clients for managing ...

Partimage 0.6.7 beta2
I have installed Partimage 0.6.7 beta2 in my puppy 4.00, but it works much slower than the stable Partimage 0.6.7. However I cannot get Partimage 0.6.7 installed, as I cannot find a Partimage 0.6.7.pet, and when I try to make a Partimage 0.6.7.pet myself it does not work (no /usr/sbin/partimage), bu...

2.11 SeaMonkey: console won't do anything
Very nice distribution, and fast. *smile*
I have v 2.11 seamonkey.
When I open console, I get the "#" prompt, but when I try to run e.g.
ls
or
/bin/busybox ls
everything is completely stuck, and nothing happens at all?
