In /root/snap config files are saved: so if you use this client then you do not need to syncronize the pc with your smartphone every time you restart the browser (and deleting cookies, cache and history).

It's working in ScPup64 latest.

Needs GTK+3 ?? and even if this is installed all I get is a blank white window with 2 menu items that don't do anything useful.

Does it really 'work' for you in a pristine frugal install of ScPup64 ...

Someone made a snap package (named Whatsdesk) of a desktop client for whatsapp. I have managed to download it and I have done a script in its dir named AppRun to launch it. It's working in ScPup64 latest.

Have you installed cups-filters and printer-driver-gutenprint? I had to install many extra packages and deps to get working my brother laser ...

It's the zdrv malformed: using the kernel from bionicpup64 I'm able to setup my printer.

Successfully tested in live sessions both cups packages in april32 and april64 with my Brother HL2130 laser printer installed by the ppd downloaded from openprinting site.

/usr/local/pfind/func and /usr/local/pfilesearch/func are missing in latest isos. Pfind is broken.

I have to reopen my issue on videos streaming sometimes not working. Changing user agent does not completely solve the problem. Restarting palemoon I have captured some error code of hanging processes:

Latest palemoon had issues with the default user agent. Changing the user agent to firefox was the solution.

I have set palemoon to delete the cache when I close it. The problem is solved changing the user agent: now palemoon has an its own default user agent which is an issue. Using firefox as user agent the problem is solved: this evening I haven't experienced any problem streaming videos.

I have googled and come at the conclusion that it's a user-agent issue. I have installed from ca-archive the User Agent Switcher extension and I have loaded a list of user agents choosing Firefox 55.0 64 bit user agent. The problem seems solved. I'll report any issue.

Using palemoon I have had again problem streaming youtube with the new profile after 4-5 hours of use and when the network is overcharged (late-evening). Restarting palemoon solves the problem. When you close palemoon you have to wait 1-2 minutes before starting it again because of hidden processes ...

I have releaved in recent days of covid19 that when the network is overcharged palemoon (my main browser) is unable to stream videos while firefox can. I think this depends on my provider and sites filtering the network requests.

EDIT: further testing: starting palemoon with a new profile solves ...

I have wasted a lot of time with Flatpak apps... Snap store seems to me the same story. These apps do not work in mainstream distros. It's a waste of time to try to import them in puppy.
