Another question on power management
Hi jamesbond,
Thanks for the swift response. I managed to change a few power/control files this way. Sadly though, it did not resolve my problem. This may be due to a hardware fault somewhere, or it could be that this notebook is on a docking station with some usb hubs, and it might be that I have ...

(USB) Power management in fatdog
Hi there,
Is there a package for fatdog which helps out with (USB) power management somewhere?
The problem I need to resolve has to do with the power management of USB ports. I have a usb peripheral device which interfaces smoothly with fatdog when attached to a desktop PC, but the identical ...

broken link to Fatdog source
Hi @Kirk or @jamesbond,
This is not particularly related to the beta version, but on the Fatdog64 website at
http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/
I noticed a broken link to the source, it currently reads
http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/sources/
but should probably be

compiling Fatdog 700 variant
Hi ,
@jamesbond or @kirk
In the first post I read that you compiled everything by hand, but you also mentioned a build system. Actually I hope your build system consists of a few bash scripts in order to easily reproduce the whole alpha build, and facilitate the production of the improved 700 ...

recovering previous fd solution
Hi there,
Thanks for all the effort put into the first alfa release of fatdog 700.
@neerajkolte I had a similar problem with fatdog621, after installation of fatdog 700 no os could be found. I recovered my fd621 by booting from an fatdog 621 usb stick without savefile, and used the grub bootloader ...

Some minor fatdog 620 beta 2 issues
Hi there,
I am quite happy with Fatdog, and look forward to the Fatdog 64-620 GA. Using it with satisfaction starting from the Fatdog 600 beta's, as I could not find any other 64bit operating system around that could do what I wanted without too much hassle. In a benchmark I also noted a speed ...

Hi there,
Did anyone try the XLock lock screen from the Fatdog control panel? I tried it, but it does not appear to accept any password. I tried to set a root password, and it works with the logon screen, but not with Xlock. I also tried a few standard puppy passwords, and the cpasswd option from ...
