Sorry, for the problems with qbat. I was hopping the pet had what was needed for qt5 stuff. Never that easy. I just tried to use the pet in Xenialpup7.5 Same problem you have had. Needs qt5 stuff. I too find that strange that the pet is in the Xenialpup repository and it does not work in Xenialpup....

Looks like qbat is in startup... However I get an error with the terminal.. :o

Maybe I should rebuild another flash drive with Xenialpup 7.5.

At the moment BionicPUP32 8.0 with pale Moon browser works great on the Internet... :D

Just download (save) the Qbat pet file to someplace you can find it. Navigate in Rox file manager to the location you put it. Left click on the pet file to install Qbat into Bionicpup. Make sure to save so Qbat stays installed. Left click on the desktop save icon to save or let it save on reboot. R...

I have a Acer Netbook

The OS is BionicPUP32 8.0

At the moment there is a lightning bolt icon on the bottom panel. However I would like something more visual with a percentage of power indicator if possible.. :D

At the moment I have Puppy 5.2.8 installed on USB flash drive.


Laptop IBM T42 with Agere systems AC97 Modem and pulse dialer.


I would like to know if the Zonet ZFM5600CF 56K V.92 Cardbus PCMCIA modem will be compatible with Puppy 5.2.8?

In the product requirements Linux is listed.

Hello, I have puppy installed on a 1 GB flash drive and it boots up just fine. However I am experiencing problems with connecting to the Internet with pupDial. My IBM T42 modem is working but the pupDial modem Internet dialer status log displays No Dial Tone. At the moment I have Puppy 5.2.8 install...
