Geany problem with 4.2 final
When I launch Geany I get no gui, but it consumes 75-85% of cpu. Can't kill it with pprocess. I'm running a frugal install (extlinux) on ssd on an eeepc 701. Geany runs fine in rc4 using same setup. Anybody else experiencing this?

can't load more than 2 .sfs modules
I'm running a frugal install with Tempestuous's eee .pets on an eeepc 701. When I select the "load all with '_410' in filename" option in BootManager only two of my three modules load at boot (the 1st two). When I untick the "load all" option and add the 1st and 3rd modules they ...

Make sure you download this file which is 91MB (the former version was 133MB) Where is this 91MB Pupeee of which you speak? I find only a 132MB file at the provided link. Along these lines, I was wondering if dvw86 has considered using a version numbering system for the various iterations of the .i...

ASUS Eee hardware is now fully supported by Puppy drivers, What about 800x480 resolution? Lack of out-of-the-box support for the EEE's native resolution is the only thing keeping Puppy from being the alternative distro of choice for the EEE. 640x480 is just too cumbersome on the EEE. Austrumi 1.60 ...

PMEDIA must be one of these: usbflash|usbhd|usbcd|ideflash|idehd|idecd|idezip|satahd|scsihd|scsicd Oops. So it must. I tried adding PMEDIA=usbflash to my menu.lst file, but still to no avail. This time, however, my machine had something to say about it before dumping me to the commandline. It said:...

usb flash drive problem
I've been having a usb flash drive problem that might be related to the usb boot problems with 2.10. My preferred setup is to do an Option 1 install to Compact Flash with IDE adapter (using the IDE ATA option, not the IDE Flash Drive option) with GRUB in the MBR. I save my pup_save.3fs to a usb flas...
