how did you get it to work, i keep being told that i need directx 9 or greater when attempt to run it?

I just found out that someone ported onlive to work on ubuntu and i was wondering if someone with the proper skills can get this working for lucid puppy and other versions of puppy?

Which package did you try?

I tried the 1.6.1 - true. I don't know f i chose the right one but when i installed it i couldn't find it in any of the menu entries.

2. left click on the skype.sfs to mount it. (you'll see the folders inside the .sfs)

How can i install programs? Every time i click on a .exe file nothing happens.

1. open terminal
2. change directory to your .exe path
3. then write: wine yourexe.exe

you can see the wine proccessing your application.exe

This doesn't work for me, When i click on iron the browser never comes up. I'm running Lucid Puppy 5.2.8.005

I don't really consider 30mbs that big in my case (something like 70mbs, or 90mbs would be a different story though!)

30MB is not a big deal for me either, would love if someone posted .pet version of skype.

Would a Frugal install really run that much better than a full install?
