I found my self having a similar situation, one of the levels in the mixer was set to zero by default, I don't know why, try running the alsamixer it is in the menu and verify the levels for your card

I still wondering what piece of software is in the FatDog64 that I can use the Fn keys to change the brightness, I'll try to research in the next few days.

I have a satellite A215-s5818. Wireless network card is ATHEROS 5007EG, the Fn+F8 doesn't seem to work but I have no problems with the wireless connection, so, I'm not worried about that Fn+F6 and Fn+F7 to control the LCD brightness do not work either and sometimes I'm using the computer late at nig...

How to have function keys like Fatdog's for Finlandia?
I found out that using the FatDog 512 I have the special function keys on my laptop working perfectly ( like Fn+F6/F7 to control LCD broghtness .. ) is there a package I can get for Finlandia to do the same thing ?

Finlandia. sven, plugins not loading
I have Finlandia frugal instal on an external USB drive, I have installed SVEN utilities from the Ubuntu repository, I just can't make the plugins to load, I have chmod all files to 777 and nothing, please see the screenshot, anybody know the reason why ??

Hi. Is there any "audio-all-in-one.sfs" like the one in FATDOG ? it would be nice to have one like that for either Slacko or Finlandia. i was trying to compile some applications in Finlandia like Rosegarden but it is very complicated, it seems that all sequencers require QT which is a mess...

Hi I'm changing the settings in the "Studio" option for Rosegarden, I'm trying to save mi USB MIDI port for external keyboard ( KORG ),I can set it up in Rosegarden but I leave the application and return and the thing is not saved. Is there any one out there using MIDI sequencers in puppy ?

I have the FATDOG64_521 FRUGAL install with GRUB2 in a subdirectory, the system loads fine from a subdir named /30Fatdog64_521 the problem comes with .sfs files, it is forcing me to store the .sfs at the root directory of the USB drive ( /mnt/home ) it should make save the .sfs inside the subdirectory

I have changed a couple of checkboxes in the Edit->Preferences dialog and settings are not saved. I was trying to have only one instance of Gnome Player at a time.
