Sadly, it didn't work. When I replaced the xorg.conf file with the one you made, xorg prompted me to probe the hardware after I restarted X.

The Puppy Installer interface stretches beyond what my old monitor can handle, so I want to remove the .pet packages via the command line. I like XMMS because it's similar to WinAmp, so I can use my WinAmp skins on it. The only .pet I can find for XMMS is for Puppy 4.x, so I'm not sure if it will work on Lucid Puppy.
