I´m currently using puppypc 2.6.21.5 with Qemu to use puppy from a USB wihin windows.

Is there any other puppy version I can use with Qemu? I haven´t found anything else.

Well what it happens to me is that it says first "trying to get ip from dhcp" .... done then it freezes for about 50secs, and then "detecting analog modem... no modem found" ... done and then boots normally. I just want to know if it freezes because of the modem, and I would like...

I´m using Puppypc 2.6.21.5 running on a USB with Qemu on a AMD Turion 64x2.

This is the only one I´ve found that can be installed with Qemu to be executed within windows from the USB.

I´ve a modem but it´s not present in the BIOS.

Hi, I use puppy from a USB with Qemu. When booting, it gets the IP from the DHCP server so quick (it takes 1 sec, not 60 secs), but then it freezes for about 50 seconds until the next line appears, "detecting analog modem.... no modem found"..."done". (see picture). So it doesn´t...

Ok, I can see it now. I don´t feel any speed diference though. Is there a way to modify this for windows? I guess there´s nothing to do with the puppy.exe file... Or puppy.exe uses puppy.sh for execution?
