Can I use that one together with flashgot addon?

I don't know. I rarely use Firefox (Chromium is my preferred browser).
I never care about videos on the net anyway, usually no good quality and big waste of time.

I use jDownloader to download Youtube videos.

I have an old desktop which works well with wired internet until ... demoted upstairs. Forcing to run wirelessly nothing worked (connection unstable) until I tried Puppy 5.28. There are two connect utilities , only one works though - I should add.

In (L)ubuntu open a terminal and run
sudo update-grub

Or install then run 'grub-customizer'.
To install grub-customizer do:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer

I installed Virtualbox 4.0.8 in Puppy Lucid 5.2 - when trying to oppen it. nothing happened, no message(s) or the message may disappear too quick.

modprobe acerhdf

I downloaded and installed the acerhdf-0.5.25-k2.6.33.2.pet
as prescribed but at the

modprobe acerhdf

I got this error message:
