Found a workaround using this guide. It bypasses any app in particular, using SSH (jailbroken phone obviously) and a proxy on Firefox/SeaMonkey's end.
Having the pet above installed (THANKS MUCH for providing it!) I had no issues with any of the commands mentioned.

Diagnosed.
Found the issue. My WPA password was a nasty cryptographically strong one with symbols. The network wizard runs from scripts, which were thrown off by characters - namely " and | but probably there are others that would lead to trouble.

Hello. I'm new here so first I'd like to say thanks for all your great work. It is amazing how much puppy can do with so little. I just set my brother up with Puppy on a Pentium III machine so he can use the internet. He is a new computer user. With a heavier OS this would be PAINFULLY slow.
