i do not know to much about CPU or threads. I do know that bigger programs tend to crash more often though.

hmm.. i wouldn't say it freeze. Most of the time, the windows just closes. And it closes fast, almost like in a magic show.

I have notice that in the puppy 4 series, programs just exits/gets killed when they take too much CPU.

seamonkey is pretty light on CPU.

i can't say the same for flash. I think it is flash's fault.

Actually, a lot goes into what makes it faster or slower. For some people it can be faster, for some slower. Normally the different will only be very slight and dosent make a difference.

I guess that you did full install.

I guess that you are using grub2.

If that is correct, you need to edit /boot/grub/grub.conf

If that is wrong, and you are using grub 1.

You need to edit /boot/menu.lst
