Can't get Puppy 4.3.1 to recognise a RAID setup
It loads, but does not list the drive(s)
I boot from the Puppy CD
I need it to move some files around in the registry on a Windows XP computer.
Not sure how to implement mdadm
Please help !

Newbie here (again)
I boot from a Puppy 4.3.1 CD to move some files around on a XP system with RAID
I have learnt from this forum that mdadm is needed
Not a clue how to implement this with a Puppy boot cd so that it will read RAID disks
Please help in plain English

Using RAID with Puppy
I have Puppy 4.3.1 on a CD which I boot from to read windows disks. Currently working on a computer with RAID setup and wanting to know how to implement mdadm or similar so that I can read and manipulate the data on the XP disk(s) Tried asking before on 2 occasions, but answers are not clear enough ...

someone help me out on this What Puppy are you using? Please explain what you are doing in more detail. Have you already installed some Puppy files somewhere? Are you seeing this behaviour when you first boot off the Live CD? into a Windows Media Centre disk What do you mean? Looks like Puppy Dingo...

Booting from Puppy CD error
Hi I am wanting to boot from Puppy into a Windows Media Centre disk, but comes up with errors thus : /dev/hda is write protected Input/Output error mounting /dev/loop0 on pup_ro2 failed I/O error on device hda, logical block 11846 etc Performing a 'switch_root' to the new Unionfs filesystem....kerne...
