The owner and group of /home/spot in the devx sfs is set to root:root , which causes problems when the devx loads over the basesfs (for example, seamonkey-spot does not start).
Similarly /home/default and /home /ftp in initrd?

@SFR Thanks for your hint. I had already tried it and it was not solved either. Found the solution at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SANE_%28%E7%AE%80%E4%BD%93%E4%B8%AD%E6%96%87%29#For_plustek_scanners Some plustek scanners (noticeably Canoscan ones), require a lock directory. Make sure that /...

Usb scanner CanoScan N656U
I have a usb scanner CanoScan N656U that worked with xsane on Fatdog 721. However, in Fatdog 800b it is not recognized in xsane. In both cases running without savefile. The results of the sane-find-scanner and scanimage commands are In 721: # sane-find-scanner # sane-find-scanner will now attempt to...

I do have plans to rebuild all FatdogArm packages to bring it up on the same level as Fatdog64 710, but so far it remains as plans. Great news that you have plans to evolve FatdogArm. While at it, I'm updating the SFS to the latest copy that I have. The updated SFS should work for all other platfor...

This did not happen in 710b2 (was the hp_wmi module included?). Yep it's still in there. But the kernel is updated to 4.4.35. Old bugs fixed, new bugs inserted might apply in your case with this kernel update. You can go back to the 4.4.21 kernel used in Beta2 if you want. It's here. Download vmlin...

@fatdog team: Great job. For now only a minor problem: at startup on a HP G62 appears rfkill: wlan soft blocked . To connect I have to use rfkill unblock wlan and everything (wpa_supplicant, etc) works perfectly. This did not happen in 710b2 (was the hp_wmi module included?). On another HP Pavilion ...

Colors in vattery (battery meter icon)
Vattery seems to have a problem when using locales other than C or en_XX. If you run with LANG other than C or en_XX colors are not displayed.jamesbond wrote: RE: battery meter icon:

Congratulations, now your basesfs work properly in the 2 modes: - native (with its own initrd) - integrated within berryboot (using berryboot's initrd) The script for the sshd service also works correctly Now the wlan0 is working properly, if at any moment should occur again the problem will try wpa...

beta4 sfs re-uploaded. 1. Add ntfs-3g, wireless-tools (iwconfig etc), mdadm and dosfstools to basesfs as per mories' request. 2. (hopefully) fix the network dhcp issue. 1. Thanks for the effort to make basesfs more autonomous. That result in a easier integration with tools like Berryboot. Still I m...

Re: Problems with wlan0 (beta4)
Yes, beta3 and beta4 has changed in the way it gets the IP address. I tried to make it more resistant and able to handle roaming, but apparently there are race issues. The issue seems familiar to Fatdog64 - but your dmesg output is a bit different. Which board is this, raspi2? The board is Raspi2, ...

Problems with wlan0 (beta4)
At boot, sometimes (not always) I am having problems with wlan0. Re: RPi2 platform
Thank you mories. I've updated rc.platform per your information. Just two more questions: a) where can I get this berryboot kernel/modules? All I can see seems to be the installer. b) The "SwapBuffersWait" parameter in 20-gpudriver.conf - is that really necessary? What happens if we don't...
