I wish I had a better fix, but this is what I have to do each time: 1. Boot from your live cd 2. Open a console and type fsck -R /dev/sda2 Capital R, substitute sda2 with where your puppy is installed 3. Answer default (y) to everthing 4. Reinstall with wipe option It's a pain.... but at least works
