I use Camtasia to record movies with their proprietary codec (results in small files) and have been looking for a way to view them in puppy.
I used the virtual box machine 4.3.1 for playing around, and to my surprise it can play the movies right out of the box.

Make the shared folder permanent?
Still amazed at how this all works so well.
I am now wondering if there is somewhere I can put the mount command so that it occurs upon booting the vm.

I did find that first, but the first 2 times I wrote the img to floppy it failed... Found the other and it worked. Read a message that floppys sometimes fail even though it reports success. Wrote the image 1 more time and it booted. It gave a bad SMK error though.

I love the hirens disc. They are bootable cd's with more tools than a sane person would know what to do with....

Desktop like does not launch Opera
Love being able to use opera in puppy. I am using opera 10b1.
Everything is ducky, but after changing the icon and dragging it to the desktop as per the instructions... it does not launch Opera.
I have to go in the folder and click it...
