That solved the window issue. There's a problem with video's stalling after about a minute, which doesn't happen with firefox or seamonkey. Here's the video I used:

I did some more tests on my old surfbox (1.8 GHz single core box with 512MB of RAM)

The results are stunning:

RAM usage with Xorg + desktop running: 11 MB (10 MB without Htop)
RAM usage in command line mode without X (pfix=nox) : 7 MB (6 MB without Htop)

Turbopup Xtreme will have a couple more RC releases (more updates, further speed and memory footprint improvements). The regular version of Turbopup has been discontinued.

Breaking (Turbopup) News:

Turbopup Xtreme reaches a new milestone: a record-breaking memory footprint of only 10.5 MiB with the full Xorg server running @ 1600x1200 / 24bpp.

With a new set of tweaks and optimizations, I've managed to reduce the memory footprint even more (by a whopping 1 MiB)

Turbopup Xtreme uses 12MB of RAM on my test machine with full X.org server running at 1600x1200 24bpp
