I've been trying these on different Puppies, and while they work fine for many applications, on some sound applications they fail miserably.

For example on the Goa trance generator "Saiko", one of those programs lags very badly. These are .exe files which don't require installation.

For a basic wine setup, I recommend the latest stable release, version 1 pet.

If the windows software you are trying to use is not functioning as it should, then I recommend the latest development release, version 1 pet.

When I choose 'Testing' in the script, the file name comes up correctly, but the dialog box tries to download a different file name and closes. Perhaps they changed file names since you last updated?

1) Yes you can use lucid pets on precise, or even 4.3. But when a program is compiled on certain platform, it may not work well on other. But all of the pets i tested from lucid, 4.3 worked fine.

Apparently the missing files I noted above were deal breakers. Hence I've been looking for a ...

I can't make the link to wine 1.5.30 work.
It goes somewhere, but not to a place that I can download the program.

I tried version 1 and version 2.

Anyone else have this problem?

When trying to play some games the mouse will get stuck. With the debug options enabled I get
trace:cursor:X11DRV_XInput2_Init X Input 2 support not compiled in.
Can you compile this in on a future version?
