New project PC

Ok. First, here's the background. My mother had the SR1320NX. It's FSB heatsink came off (bracket pin that the lock bar connected to came unsoldered) and she ran it until it overheated and the capacitors all popped. I think it may have gotten hit by lightening, too, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I was g...

I can't get it to re-load the pinboard that way at all, however, I can get into a ROX-Filer window using the command for that... EDIT: Scratch that. I had to use the following: sh-4.1# /usr/local/apps/ROX-Filer/AppRun -p /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin That got my pinboard back up and running again.

If you are using a router, just set the DNS servers in it and Puppy will get them through DHCP. I'm not at home, right now, but I'll post an example when I get there.

Just realized, I have the libffi.so files in /usr/local/lib but it's not reading them in GCC when it goes to do the configure command? checking for LIBFFI... no configure: error: Package requirements (libffi >= 3.0.0) were not met: No package 'libffi' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH env...

libffi

Well... I'm working on building GNOME 3, but I'm trying to get libffi to work first... I think I'm missing something, since it's been about 4 years since I last used GCC and built something... I've successfully completed the "configure" part of getting the build done. I've done make ./Make...

Tried it. Nothing. It will at least let me open the SFS Load on the Fly... However... There's nothing loaded... :( It seems as though it's everything with ROX has just crapped out and won't load. I'm beginning to think it's just a coincidence that it happened after I loaded that .sfs now... I can lo...

Slacko 5.3.3 Java JDK

I installed the Java JDK via SFS4. Immediately after, I lost my pinboard, I can't get the Package Manager to load, and basically, I have to do everything through the terminal. I'm not exactly sure what caused this. I'm having to use Windows for now. Puppy runs fine without loading a save file or any...

Every time I try to run the "make" command, it just returns "There is nothing that can be done with this target."

If anyone can build this, and possibly package it, I'd greatly appreciate it.I'm running Slacko 5.3.3.
