Pulled all the files the installer used from the .iso for the love cd and replaced them. It boots now.

I'm assuming that the initrd.gz got copied incorrectly, either from a corrupted download, or an incorrectly packaged installer, maybe? That or my computer just didn't like it. It does get tempermental sometimes... I provided a link to the image as it's huge when I embed it on here.
