Me too. Puppy has no problem with display resolution but tails failed miserably on my machine.Flash wrote:https://tails.boum.org/about/index.en.html
I am not impressed. This thing is enormous. How long will it take to boot from a DVD, and can it save settings on the DVD, as multisession Puppy can?

WOW! Fatdog is sweet. Works perfectly on a HP G60 laptop. Stable and bug-free. Nvidia install and performance is flawless. Full screen youtube is great. Congrats to Kirk and his cohorts for an excellent release. Reminds me of Fatdog 112 which was also stellar albeit not 64 bit. Also wondering if Sim...

The remaster script found in Puppy's start menu is simple. Answer some straight forward questions and the process is mostly automatic. I often use the script to make a quick remaster with everything I need installed. Keep in mind, I'm running via live cd. I flash up my new remaster and apply all the...

Pwireless2 is what you are looking for to handle wireless connections.
The beauty of Puppy is the ease in which you can remaster it or save the settings. Why not make your own remaster set up for your Dad's computer?

I know for sure the 8730G has the cyrstal eye cam and I'm pretty sure the netbook is the same. There may be various models of such although nothing is specified other than crystal eye. I don't think anyone has offered a pet but I'm using the static version in another distro and it works fine. Static...

Sidux 64 is pretty good when teamed with smxi. Unfortunately, no Skype package writes it off for me. Sabayon 64 does provide a package that works. I know Puppy and most derivatives concentrate on small size. There is a place for big derivatives like Teenpup and Muppy. I really miss Muppy since my de...

This puplet is over a year old so the tor software is bound to be out-of-date. You can update tor(and anything else) from the pets available in the software department in this forum. You could then save or remaster to retain changes. One other thing is tor will not run if it detects the wrong time/t...

Transfer them to Puppy with via usb flash drive. .pets are just like windows .exe. Click on them and they install - just like that. You may need to reboot and if ...
